My boss thinks PowerPoint slides are the solution to everything. Every meeting, every training, every email follow-up—slides. Last week, we had a meeting to discuss “team morale,” and instead of, you know, talking to us like human beings, he presented a 45-slide deck. We had graphs, pie charts, and even a bar graph labeled “Optimism Over Time,” which, ironically, flatlined after slide 15. The best part? The final slide was a stock photo of people high-fiving. If I never see another PowerPoint transition effect in my life, it’ll be too soon.
